Velkommen til Ung i Norden 2024

Finland er vært for Ung i Norden i Helsinki fra den 11. – 13. oktober i år. Sessionerne kommer til at være på Partioasema, vores spejderkontor, og deltagerne vil være logeret på et hostel tæt ved.

Alle spejdere verden rundt er forenede i de samme idealer, som i grunden handler om at skabe venskab uden grænser og at tage ansvar for vores samfund. Tema for Ung i Norden i år vil være det meget relevante Fred.

Vi håber at deltagerne gennem weekenden vil møde og få nye venner fra Norden, at de vil lære om fred og at bruge sin egen stemme til at fremme fred. Også vil vi tale om hvad fred i virkeligheden betyder fra global solidaritet til fredsarbejde i deres egne samfund og omgivelser; hvordan fredsarbejde er synligt i deres egne spejderorganisationer og programmer ved brug af den finske “Erätauko keskustelu” metode som dialogverktøj.

Hvert land må sende op til fire deltagere mellem 16-22 år, undtagen Danmark, som på grund af spejderkorps må sende 5. Vi vil bede om at i har fundet deltagere og sendt os deres information (navne og emails) senest den 31. august til international@partio.fi.

Deltagelse koster i øjeblikket 200 Euro. Vi håber stadig at ekstern finansiering kan lave omkostningerne lavere, og vi venter stadig på at høre mere, men vi anbefaler at I er forberedte på 200 Euro. Deltagerprisen omfatter måltider, logi og program.

Welcome to Ung i Norden 2024!

Finland is hosting Ung i Norden this year in Helsinki, Finland from the 11. – 13.10.2024. The sessions will be held at partioasema, our scout office, and accommodation will be in a nearby hostel.

All scouts around the world are united by the same ideals, which at its core, is about building friendships without borders and bearing responsibility of your surrounding society. This year’s Ung i Norden theme will be on the very relevant topic of Peace.

We hope through the weekend participants will meet and make new friends from the Nordics, learn about peace and using their own voice to advocate for it. We also aim to talk about what peace truly means from global solidarity to peace work in their own communities and surroundings, how peace work is visible in their own scout organizations and programs and using the Finnish “Erätauko keskustelo” method as a dialogue tool.

Each country may send up to 4 participants between the 16-22 years old, except for Denmark being allowed 5 due to the number of associations. We ask that the participants be selected, and information (name and emails) be sent to us by the 31.8 to international@partio.fi.

The participation cost is currently 200 euros. We are still in the hope of getting outside funding to lower the cost and are still waiting to hear back, but we strongly suggest being prepared for the 200 euros. The participation cost covers meals, accommodation and program.
